The Scenery and Cuisine was Fabulous!!

Norma & Tom Elmquist and Patty & Dave Hagen escaped the drudgery of NW Wisconsin for a visit to the enchanted region of Provence in the South of France in September of 2003.

It was a fabulous trip that created a fellowship and priceless memories that will last each of us our lifetime. We rented a chateau from a lovely couple who farmed the fields and vineyards nearby. They lived in their own modest farmhome that had been in the family for generations. However, they had the opportunity to build their own dream retirement home simply because the bank would finance them based on their ability in that setting to rent it out and make all the mortgage payments from the rental.

We loved the house, the salt-water swimming pool, the vineyards adjacent and also the complete Provence region with it's scenery, culture, cuisine and history. We'd go back in a New York minute, except for the fact that a hundred other similar experiences await the adventurous traveler!! Some many places, so little time!!
